According to his reply to an interview we had with him,”My ex’s best friend” will be featured MGK’s fifth studio record Tickets for My Downfall, which will be coming up as from September 25 and officially released and produced by his regular collaborator Travis Barker of Blink-182.
MGK and black bear have worked on three songs together, such as”End of the Road” on the initiative’s 2012 LP Lace Up, “Shoot’Em Down” from MOD SUN, and”e.z.” on the latter’s most 2017 record cybersex.
Entitled ‘My Ex’s Best Friend,’ the tune Hears MGK team up with singer-songwriter black bear since they discuss a cluttered entanglement on a guitar-laden background. The tune opens with MGK singing: “You understand My ex, so making it feel complex, yeah (Everything seems complex )I read these texts which you shipped to yoursbut I will never say ityeah (I will never say).”
On the chorus of this pop-punk monitor, the pair Sing: “I vow to God, I don’t fall in love/ You then showed up and that I can not get enough of it.”
